I was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia as a baby and I was recently sick. From the beginning of February 2022 till the middle of March 2022, I took more Morphine than I have ever taken in my life. I was sick for about 6 weeks. I kept asking God if I had sinned against Him or if I harboured unforgiveness in my heart. I could not shake this sickness off and to top it all, God was silent. Eventually, the Holy Spirit reminded me of my confessions.

Over the years, I start my day by confessing various Scriptures that I had earmarked from the Bible. These confessions were a spiritual protection. I did not stop because I felt I no longer needed it, no. I stopped because through the month of January, I was fasting. Fasting made me stop my daily ritual because I was on a different praying programme during that fasting period. When the 2nd month started, I was caught up with life and before I knew it, within the first 6 days, I was sick. I looked back and to be frank, because I would confess those healing confessions for example, I had not been sick to the point where I had to go into hospital for years.

When the Holy Spirit told me about something that I had been doing and stopped, as you can imagine, I quickly started confessing once again. I believe so much in confessions that I wrote a book titled, Godly Declarations.

Thank you Lord, that your Word is spirit and it is life – Hebs 4:12

Father I want to serve you with all faithfulness – Josh 24:14

Abundance is my birthright, this is something that Jesus paid for – John 10:10b

Lord be gracious to me as you were to Sarah – Gen 21:1

Father give me room so I am may flourish in the land – Gen 26:22

Oh Lord, hear my groanings and remember my covenant with Jesus – Ex 2:24

Father God, rescue me out of the hands of the Egyptians (name the spirits oppressing you) – Ex3:8

Lord by your power, bring me out from under the yoke of the Egyptians; Lord free me from being a slave; and Father redeem me with your outstretched arm in Jesus name. Ex 6:9

Thank you Lord that my I will be blessed when I come in and I will be blessed when I go out in Jesus name. Thank you Lord that I am the head and not the tail in Jesus name. Deut 28:6 & 13

Lord help me to obey your laws, so I may be prosperous and successful in Jesus name – Joshua 1:7

The Lord sustains me on my sickbed and restores me from any illness – Ps 41:3

Father have compassion on me and heal me of … in Jesus name. Matt 14:14
