Judges 16: 26 Samson said to the servant who held his hand, “Put me where I can feel the pillars that support the temple, so that I may lean against them.” 27 Now the temple was crowded with men and women; all the rulers of the Philistines were there, and on the roof were about three thousand men and women watching Samson perform.

The enemies of Samson thought they had him, he had become their prisoner and they had cut off his hair, which was the source of his power and strength.  His braids were the secret to his strength, and he had told Delilah in confidence, because he thought she loved him.  Lesson one, be careful who you share your secret with.

Just like satan made a mistake with Jesus, he made a mistake with Samson, because his hair began to grow again.  As the hair grew, he started gaining more and more strength that no one knew about because he was in prison.  Lesson two, as God is redeeming you and helping you along, the best thing to do is be still and say nothing.

The Philistines were celebrating to offer a sacrifice to their god, they decided to mock Samson and make a fool of him in public.  So, the rulers asked that he is brought out to entertain them in vs 25 While they were in high spirits, they shouted, “Bring out Samson to entertain us.” So they called Samson out of the prison, and he performed for them. When they stood him among the pillars,…

Samson prayed to God one more time, vs 28 Then Samson prayed to the Lord,“Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” 29 Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other,…

The enemy might think that he has got your back against the wall, and that you cannot escape but he does not know that God always has the final say in the lives of His children.  Samson prayed to God again and in the midst of his enemies, God answered his prayers.

What situation are you facing today?  What difficulty are you going through?  What affliction has beset you? Whatever it is, I want to remind you and let you know that God has your back.  The situation that you are in might be dire but remember Samson; because those who mocked him perished with him.  He asked God in vs 30 Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.  Samson must have felt what is the point of being alive and being blind, when his two eyes had been gouged off.

The Word of God for you today is that you are due for a comeback in Jesus name; whatever the devil meant for evil, God is getting ready to turn it around for your good in Jesus name.  Don’t give up and don’t allow the enemy to have the last say in your life.  Pray again, dance like David danced, fast if you need to and God will surely hear and answer you.  This year is coming to an end but you too will have cause to testify and glorify His name by the end of the year.

Be encouraged this new month that victory is yours and the manifestations of your prayer will be seen by all in Jesus name.  You will surely sing your own victory song and dance your own unique dance to God by His grace.
