IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT

Dear 1st lady,

Today, I want to talk about you finding yourself in a difficult situation.  By that I mean, that someone very close to you has done something that could easily tear the family apart.  Yes, in the eyes of men, what has happened is despicable and here you are being told to keep walking and pretending that all is well in the home front.  When all is not well and you are just about keeping it together.

In fact, what yo want to do is curl up in your bed and never come out again.  How could this happen?  Did you take your eyes off the ball?  As women, we tend to blame ourselves after something bad happens and I am here to tell you that what happened had nothing to do with you.  It is not your fault; please let that sink into the depths of your soul, as satan would like to bring self condemnation into your heart.

Where do we go from here?  Well, I will say do not make any rash decisions.  Take your time in processing what has happened.  It’s important that you think things through.  If possible go and speak to your spiritual mentor, because you need counselling my sister and it has to be Godly counselling.
No matter what, something good can still come out of this devastating situation and I know that is probably the last thing you want to hear right now.

I would like to end with Ps 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.  2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.  4  Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me your rod and your staff, they comfort me.   5  You prepare a table before me     in the presence of my enemies.   You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.   6  Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Prayer point: Father I pray that you will heal your heart and guide me in Jesus name, amen.
