Today, I want to talk to you about having a spiritual mentor; when you are going through a hard time, sometimes, you might feel all alone or feel that the world is against you or feel that you cannot go on.I assure you, it is nice to have a mentor.  Someone you look up to, someone that you can talk to and tell how you are feeling and also what is going on in your life.  Sometimes, it is okay to be vulnerable and just be you and tell this beloved sister of yours, who is your spiritual mentor what is really going on for you. I know that you have had to be there over the years  for everyone in church and all visitors and all.    You also need someone who can speak into your life and tell you what direction to take, especially when you are at a point where you feel that you can no longer go on.  You need a spiritual mentor who can stand in the gap with you and pray for you, fast with you or hear from God on your behalf if possible.So, my 1st lady, do you have a spiritual mentor?  If not, you do need one.You want to look for someone who is more experienced than you in the Lord and older and whom you know can be trusted  This person has to have your confidence and be able to speak into your life, positively or maybe to admonish you without you feeling offended.Proverbs 18:24 says – A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Prayer point: Lord, I ask that you send me a spiritual mentor to help me in this journey called life, in Jesus name, amen.
