Don’t give up on God

You might be finding it tough and wondering what is the point of this Christian walk?  You might be saying to yourself, does God really answer prayers?  You might be feeling discouraged and wondering where will my help come from?

Let me tell you this, the woman with the issue of blood also felt the same way, she was in despair, was low, was down-hearted etc…

We are introduced to her in Luke 8:43-48 (ESV)

⁴³ And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her living on physicians,^[a] she could not be healed by anyone. ⁴⁴ She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately her discharge of blood ceased. ⁴⁵ And Jesus said, “Who was it that touched me?” When all denied it, Peter^[b] said, “Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in on you!” ⁴⁶ But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I perceive that power has gone out from me.” ⁴⁷ And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed. ⁴⁸ And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”

This woman did something that she had not done before.  She had been to doctors and all but on this day, she was not content in just seeing or looking at Jesus, she moved close to Him and touched the hem of his garment.  She tapped into the healing anointing of Jesus and received an instantaneous miracle.

Be encouraged with this story; God will heal you, bring you through it, save you, save your family, save your husband, save your children or grandchildren.  God will do it for you as you want Him to.  God will open doors that have been closed onto you; God will not allow His name to be profaned in your life; God will give you a testimony, as He did for the woman with the issue of blood.

I was in such a situation a while back and even though I know/knew God at the time, I could not see the wood from the trees.  I felt as if I was going to die;  I was in despair and could not function on a day to day basis properly; I was bedridden in pain and crying to God and wondering what was going on.  The enemy wanted me to give up and not seek Him the more or not shout his name like blind Bartimeus did but I did not allow the enemy to steal my worship and my ability to pray.  I pressed in and got amazing results from the One who created me.

God is no respecter of persons, what He did for her, He can do for you.  Have faith and believe His Word for you.  Always remember that there is no problem that God cannot solve.  I can’t imagine what it was like for this woman the day after her healing.  I prophesy into your life, you shall arise again and testify to the goodness of God.

PRAYER POINT: By the resurrection power of my Lord Jesus Christ, come alive from that deadly situation in Jesus name.  Let the resurrection power of my Lord Jesus Christ come upon my … in Jesus name.  God who is not subjected to any scientific diagnosis, will correct every thing that is wrong with your mortal body in Jesus name.
