Be set free from every satanic prison

When you are honouring God as a child of God, doing His will, putting Him first in all that you do, I can assure you that though the enemy comes like a flood, God will lift up His standard against those militating against your destiny.

In Acts 12, Peter was zealous for God and miracles and wonders were a daily occurrence in the lives of these men of God.  King Herod at the time, was harassing the church and killing the disciples.  He had killed James the brother of John, saw that the Jews were happy and so he arrested Peter and put him in prison.

⁵ So Peter was kept in prison, but fervent and persistent prayer for him was being made to God by the church.

⁶ The very night before Herod was to bring him forward, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries were in front of the door guarding the prison. ⁷ Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared [beside him] and a light shone in the cell. The angel struck Peter’s side and awakened him, saying, “Get up quickly!” And the chains fell off his hands.⁸ The angel said to him, “Prepare yourself and strap on your sandals [to get ready for whatever may happen].” And he did so. Then the angel told him, “Put on your robe and follow me.” ⁹ And Peter went out following the angel. He did not realize that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. ¹⁰ When they had passed the first guard and the second, they came to the iron gate that leads into the city. Of its own accord it swung open for them; and they went out and went along one street, and at once the angel left him.

Though Peter was in prison, at night we are told that he  ‘was sleeping between two soldiers bound with two chains’, and guards were guarding the prison door.  Yet, an angel was sent to set him free.  As the angel woke him, we are told that ‘the chains fell off his hands’.  Then they passed the first and second guard at the prison gate and finally the prison door swung open of its own accord!  

What an awesome and miracle working God we serve.  I want to assure you that you are too relevant to God for Him to allow the enemy to cut your destiny short.  God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will not allow you to be put to shame.  You will fulfil your purpose in life in Jesus name.  Your life on earth will not be cut short because it matters to God.  Remember you are too crucial to God to be wasted.  

Prayer point: Lord, send your angel to fight my battles for me and deliver me out of the hands of the oppressor, according to Isa 49:25.  Any satanic prison holding my …. captive, burst into flames in Jesus name.
