SEVEN STEPS TO YOUR DELIVERANCE

cross-and-bible-F1 P1stL

Sometimes in life, we go through situations that seems as if we do not have the power to get out of. We keep doing this thing over and over again that we know God dislikes and we feel bound by the enemy.  Whatever that thing is, that you keep doing and know God hates, be of good cheer as you follow the following seven steps to your deliverance:

Honesty: God wants us to come to Him with an open heart, ready to confess what we have done, without covering anything up.  Any sin not confessed or repented of, gives the demon legal right to remain.  Ask God to help you see you as He sees you and to bring to light anything that is not of Him.

2 Sam 22: 21 The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.

Humility: This involves a recognition that one is dependent on God and His provision for deliverance.

Jas 4:But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. When it comes to deliverance, it is a work of resisting, it is not a soft, sweet, pretty action.  You have to stand your ground and stand against the devil.

Repentance: Repentance is a determined turning away from sin and Satan.  One must hate all evil in one’s life and fall out of agreement with it. Read Ps 51.

Jas 4:Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.  Remember you are before your Maker, tell Him how continuing in this sin, is not only upsetting you but also putting a barrier, between you and your Lord Jesus.

Renunciation: It is the forsaken of evil.  It means a clean break with satan and all his works.  Acts 18-19.  Tell God you are ready to renounce that sin/s.  You need to turn your back to that sin and confess to yourself, that you no longer live in the bondage of that sin.

Forgiveness: God freely forgives all who confess their sins to Him and so ask for forgiveness through His son.

1 Jn 1:If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Matt 6: 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Ps 32:5  Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity.   I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”  And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Prayer: Joel 2:32 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors
whom the Lord calls.

Prvb 15:29 The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

Warfare: Use the weapons of God: The name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, the Word of God and the Sword of the Spirit.

Mrk 16:17a 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Luk 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

2 Corin 10:For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Identify the spirits, address them directly by name, and in faith, command them to go in the name of Jesus.

Prayers and warfare are two separate and distinct activities.  Prayer is towards God and warfare is towards the enemy.
