Hello and welcome to the month of October!

As I was contemplating to continue writing about ‘prayer’, the Holy Spirit whispered the words above to my ears.   Yes, you and I are not defeated.

And the Scripture that the Holy Spirit told me to look at for this message is 2 Corin 4:8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

The Holy Spirit said the essence of this post is to remind you that ‘you are not defeated’.  Yes, the enemy has waged all manner of war against you both physically and also spiritually but you have held on and as such, you should be able to relate to the message of Apostle Paul above.

Let’s think about it, have you not not been hard-pressed on every side this year? Have you not been perplexed about the attack of the enemy?  Have you not been persecuted from the people that you trusted?  Have you not been struck down by the affliction that came again you?

And yet in all these situations, Apostle Paul says ‘we are not crushed, we are not in despair; we are not forsaken and also we are not destroyed’. And most importantly, the Holy Spirit says to tell you that you are not defeated! Hallelujah!!!

Prayer Point: Father Lord, do not let me be defeated in the remaining months of this year.

Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!   5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.   6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
