Hello my 1st ladies,

It’s a new month and God has counted us worthy to witness this new month and as such, we will rejoice and be glad in it, despite what is going on in our lives.

Today, I encourage you to shift your thinking and be in a place of being thankful to God and man; grateful to the creator of the heavens and the earth.

August is the 8th month, and eight signifies new beginnings in the Bible.  Remember, God saved eight people to go on the ark, for a new beginning.  He also commanded that children be circumcised on the eight day (Gen 17:10-12; Gen 21:4; Luk 2:21).  So my sisters, we will tap into the anointing of the new and discard the old thoughts of yesterday, thoughts of hopelessness and despair.

Ps 121:1-2 states: I look up to the hills, from where does my help comes from?. My help comes from the Lord, who has made the heavens and the earth.

I want to encourage you today my 1st lady, that no matter what you are going through, God is the same, yesterday, today and forever.  He is alive and well; He says He will never leave nor forsake you. How about you take that step of faith and do that thing that you have always wanted to do in a long time, but not done.  Is it a phone call to someone, it it to write a book, is it to start your own business, it is to start going to the gym; is it to start eating healthily; it is to go for walks, is it to enrol in a fashion school etc…  The possibilities of a new beginning is endless and there is no time like today to take that step of faith and MOVE FORWARD and UPWARD.

Prayer point: Lord, whatever it is that I want to do crown my efforts with success this month of August, as I tap into the anointing of new beginnings in Jesus name, amen.
