It’s been a roller coaster few weeks and months, I know! Its been hard, stressful, difficult, you thought you could not go on but God…Ps 124 1:1 talks about “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side”,… You know that is so true, Christ in your, the hope of glory (Col 1:27)
What I would like you to do at this time is to just pretend that all is well and don’t let worry consume you any longer or don’t let your life be dedicated to the spirit of giving up on God.
One thing that has helped me in dire situations is to go to a park that has beautiful flower arrangements, go to a museum and learn something new, go to a street market or a farmer’s market and walk around. Or go away for a weekend spa or a day’s spa. Basically, I am saying don’t just stay at home, brooding, get up and do something just for you. If you want to go alone, do so and if you want to go with a girlfriend do so, the main thing is to go out there and look at things from a fresh perspective.
The story that comes to mind for me in the Bible is the story of Jesus waking up early in the morning and going somewhere to pray. It’s about waking up with a purpose, it’s about waking up with a raison d’etre; it’s about waking up and being positive.
Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
Are now ready to do something small for yourself? You deserve it! Animate your strength and keep moving!
Prayer point: Father, help me to keep moving like Peter in Jesus name, amen.
