IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD?

Jer 32:27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Today, I want to inspire you and have you believe God like never before.  Remember the priest Zachariah?  Well God did not forget his labour in His temple and at the right time, God blessed him and his wife Elizabeth with a son, John the Baptist.

We can read about Zachariah in Luke 1:5-79

We are told that he was a righteous man and that his wife Elizabeth was from the household of Aaron; vs And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

Here we have this righteous couple doing right before God, working in His temple, with no child/ren and still they continued to serve God and now, when we read about them, we are told that vs 7  and they both were now well stricken in years.  I wonder how old they both were?  Vs 18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.  I would venture to say that it was possible that Elizabeth had gone past her menopause.

Only God knows when that thing that we are believing Him for is due; one thing  I do know is that our God is never late or early but always on time.  Zachariah had been praying to God to bless him and Elizabeth with the fruit of the womb all these years.  God did not answer their prayers till they were ‘stricken in years’; God did not answer them till they were old.  I wonder why?  But only God knows.  I thing I do know is God specialises in the impossible.  Even Zachariah wondered how they could have a child, when they were ‘stricken in years‘.

So, I don’t know what miracle is in your unanswered prayer list and you feel that God has forgotten, let me reassure you that He has not forgotten that particular prayer request/s that you keep bombarding Him about over the years.  I love Isa 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.  This scripture over the years has given me comfort.  God says He will not forget you and your request, amen!

He will grant you your prayer request and might I add, give you double or triple or quadruple portion, as the case might be.  Here is what the angel said to Zachariah, about their child, soon to be born; vs 13 for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.   As you can see, he was not an ordinary child!  This couple got a child amongst children, a forerunner of Jesus.  What an honour!  John the Baptist came into this world through elderly parents and did wonders for God.

As my title says, ‘nothing is too hard for God’.  No matter how long it takes, don’t give up hope or faith and continue to believe in Jesus and continue to do good and work for Him, if you are in ministry.  When you wait on God, He will make the natural supernatural for you and make the ordinary extraordinary for you.  Your test over the years has to produce a testimony in Jesus name.

Prayer points: Father, just as you remembered Zachariah, remember me for good in Jesus name.  Lord, I have been waiting on you for the miracle of…, help me to wait on you Lord because I know nothing is too hard for thee.   Lord use this dumbfounding miracle to restore my dignity and honour in Jesus name.

Amen
